Jolene is a Yellow Female Labrador, Her parents are Mable and Marieno from Ridge View Labradors, one of RCTA’s Partnered Dog Connection Program Dogs. She was born 1/25/2025!

Jolene is a sweet and kind spirited girl, she would be a great family dog with the potential for Therapy Work!

Basic Commands:

Name: Reliable response to their name

Ready?: Focus and anticipation for the next command
Mark: Intense focus on an object for retrieving
Free: Return to the handler for a reward
Yes/Good: Positive reinforcement for correct and desired behavior
No: Gentle guidance towards the desired behavior
Sit: Classic sit position.
Here: Come when called
Down: Lie down on command.
Leave it: Ignore tempting objects, promoting impulse control.
Kennel: Enter their crate calmly.
Climb: Confidently climb onto a platform.
Inside/Outside: Understand and respond to these directional cues.
Go Potty
Load Up: Willingly enter a vehicle.
Loose Leash: Enjoy walks without pulling.
Off: Refrain from jumping or getting on furniture.
Leash on/off and gear on/off: communication of putting training gear on

Socialization & Confidence Building

Jolene has been introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences to foster a confident and be well-adjusted:

Weather Sounds: Thunderstorms and Fireworks
People: Men, Women, Children and People with different appearences(hats, sunglasses, etc)
Everyday Objects: Vaccums, Mops, Home Sounds
Loud Noises: Develop a healthy response to unexpected sounds
