Day Training

Day Training is a great option for those who are more local to Elkader, Iowa. We offer day training Monday through Friday, dogs are dropped off and picked up at the end of the day.

Our Day Training Program is 4 weeks long- $1,000 Monthly or $250/weekly.
Available slots- 5
We keep our numbers small due to insure each dog gets 2-3 training sessions through out the day. Reservation must be made in advanced in order to be accepted, no walk-ins will be accepted (unless communication from Owner and RCTA)

Drop off and Pick up- our typical drop off times are 7:30 AM- 8:00 AM and absolute pickup time is no later than 4:30PM, Monday-Friday. Strong communication with client/owner is a must.

Required Core Vaccines: Must be from Veterinarian

• Rabies: A fatal disease transmitted through saliva, often required by law. 

• DHPP (or DA2PP, DAPP): This combination vaccine protects against:

  • Distemper: A highly contagious and often fatal viral disease. 

  • Adenovirus (Hepatitis): Affects the liver and kidneys. 

  • Parvovirus: A highly contagious and potentially fatal gastrointestinal disease. 

  • Parainfluenza: A respiratory virus. 

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough): Protects against a highly contagious respiratory infection often encountered in social settings like dog parks and boarding facilities. 

• Negitive Fecal Test

  • A fecal test is commonly performed to check your dog’s poop for parasites, such as:

    • Roundworms

    • Whipworms

    • Hookworms

    • Coccidia

    • Giardia

    • Tapeworms

• Flea and Tick— Be current on preventive and show proof
